Track #1 from TES.
OG Filename: Eminem_Without_Me_main_mix_23902_DMP Has very slight fade out differences from release. Was rebounced in 2020 seemingly for no reason.
This uses the same instrumental that was released on the Expanded Edition of TES. Has worse mixing, is missing an ad-lib at 2:04, and an extended outro featuring more Dina Rae vocals. Eminem's female voice is a different take.
A diss track aimed at Canibus. It's possible the part where Em imitates Dr. Dre is a reference for him. Mentioned in Jenny Watkins book so its from 2002. Unknown if it was made before or after TES released, so it'll stay here for now. Confirmed by Jake Bass to be produced by Mike Elizondo so its likely Dre had a hand too.
OG Filename: 11.29.01 Bully Noted by Joe Strange to exist. Likely very different from the version that leaked.
OG Filename: 11.29.01 Bully Noted by Joe Strange to exist. Likely very different from the version that leaked.
Original version of the song that samples 'Somebody's Watching Me' by Rockwell. The sample clearance issue was why it was cut down for The Kiss skit and not released until 2025. Supposedly intended for The Wash soundtrack. Mentioned by Truth Hurts in an article. Her vocals were likely replaced by Em on the released version. Possibly connected to 'The Watcher 2.'
Track #2 from TES. Recorded in June 2001.
OG Filename: Eminem Nowhere Fast (feat. Kehlani) Main Mix 94906 DMP OG file for a 2020 bounce of Nowhere Fast. Unsure what it was meant for.
OG Filename: No apologies 9.7.01 Was originally made in TES sessions, and was later reworked in 2005 and put on The Re-Up. The first 2 verses were reused for a Funk Flex freestyle with Proof and a Rap Basement freestyle with D12. Joe Strange claimed the third verse was different compared to release, but he could have been mistaken.
Track #3 from TES. Dr. Dre does uncredited ad-libs.
The song from The Kiss (skit). Joe Strange mistakenly referred to it as 'No Lights' from 2003, but later clarified its name was 'Camera' and it was made by Steve King in the skit folder for TES (which also confirms that it was a skit edit). Linked AI isolation of the skit was made by Shady Mixes & cleaned up by Toy Pad.
OG Filename: Topless (Dre) V1 Doc Version Has a completely different Dre verse as well as one different line in the hook. Sly's hook is slightly different than other versions. From late-2007. Leaked by Mario Kart.
The original version was an interpolation of George Harrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." George liked it and was okay with it but he passed before it would clear and his wife didn't approve of it. The original beat can be slightly heard in the acapella bleed.
Track #4 from TES. Recorded in March 2001.
One of the original leaked snippets for the song features a lyric change, "When I say that I be keeping the fuckin' shit gangster as mobsters" as opposed to "When I be sayin' that Imma keep this shit gangster as mobsters”
An incomplete demo of Cleanin' Out My Closet, mentioned by DJ Head.
Said by Joe Strange to have been started in 2003. Shares the same beat, hook, and first two verses as the 2005 version. Has a different third verse, however it's unknown if the post-chorus is present. Recorded a week after "Smack You."
OG Filename: MELODIES MT RIHANNA Another version of "Mitus Touch" with vastly different production, different Kanye vocals and a Jeremih ref. Snippet leaked 01/30/24. Leaked fully as part of the Can U Be groupbuy. Made sometime in 2015.
Seen on a CD. Jake Bass confirmed this is an earlier version of Cleanin' Out My Closet. Unknown what the differences are.
