Released onto Terrace Martin's Soundcloud on Dec. 15, 2015, before being removed from the platform. Jazz rendition of "Alright" by Terrace Martin with missing verses and additional adlibs by Pharrell as well early production that shares almost the same instrumental as Fabolous' tune on "Awwright", as the song was originally his. Entitled "Alright (11)" in honor of To Pimp A Butterfly being nominated for 11 grammys.

Originally described as a collab song between Kanye and Kendrick before being confirmed later on that it was meant for Diddy's 2016 mixtape "Money Makin' Mitch". The second verse that Kendrick raps is meant to be a reference for Diddy. Kanye records a very rough iPhone voice memo mumble vocals, likely for a feature. Snippets leaked on July 28, 2025. Leaked in full on July 29, 2025 after a successful groupbuy. Interpolates "Dirty Gang" by Bruno Canfora.

One of the two TPAB throwaways snippets leaked on 12/7/22 for a bundle. Leaked in full 12/10/22. It includes the scrapped second verse that Kendrick once shared in an interview to Power 106 FM and reuses lyrics from "i (Album Version)", which means that it would most likely scrapped very late. The first two verses were featured from a freestyle on BigBoyTV called Real 92.3 Freestyle. Recorded on January 4th, 2015 according to its metadata. Sold for 1.5K. Interpolates "The Light" by Common and "Golden" by Jill Scott.

The original verse by Rapsody was cut down to make for a better transition into "The Blacker The Berry", confirmed by Rapsody herself on August 16, 2024.

Uses the same instrumental as "Falsehood" and was offered as a bonus for a group buy. Unknown if it features Kendrick.

A throwaway from the 'To Pimp A Butterfly' sessions. SZA's vocals and the instrumentals were repurposed for Jay Rock’s title track "Redemption".

Unheard TPAB-era song confirmed to exist by Chantal. Made right after her addition to "Pay For It" by Jay Rock. First mentioned in an interview to Q with Tom Power aired on June 15, 2016, where she describes the song as a "very beautiful romantic jazzy thing that he [Kendrick] heard it and flipped it into a very political thing". The track was also said by her to have been originally followed by a movie-like script. Later in March 2023, on an article by Complex Canada, Chantal revealed that "Happy For You" was massively centered around Trayvon Martin murder, and that was supposed to be the track performed live on SNL in November 2014 instead of "Pay For It" before being cut at the very last minute. Snippet posted on rapleaks subreddit on May 13th, 2018. "Never Change" is possibly the original name of the song. Unknown what features are on this version. Could be fake.
