Played at SXSW on Mar. 20, 2015 before the songs release. At first, a live recording of the song showed up on SoundCloud in recording quality, but the CDQ version of the one performed at SXSW has yet to surface. Abel said that the "scream before the drop" was inspired by the crowd at the show but video evidence shows very clearly that the scream drop was already in the song at that point. This was most likely a mistake from Abel, as he said there was 67 versions of 'The Hills'.
