Debut studio album, released on September 4, 2015. Missed several planned release dates as it was heavily redeveloped several times.
Partial [?] OG Filename: 3 wayz 08.29.15 Early solo version with rough vocals. Given to Ty Dolla $ign for 'Campaign', likely when they had sessions together in February 2016. Dated August 29, 2015, but was presumably never considered for 'Rodeo', as the album was already finished and CDs were pressed. Leaked as part of a four-pack on May 16, 2016.
A vocal take featuring Travis recording some backing vocals and adlibs. Leaked in mid-late 2019.
Unfinished throwaway from early 2015. Said to be produced by Travis but seems unlikely. Snippet leaked April 26, 2024; another leaked May 11. A portion of the intro leaked May 14. Finally leaked on July 30, 2025.
Released on September 4, 2015. Track 1 from 'Rodeo'. Features narration from T.I. Samples Ache's "Expectation".
By August 19, 2014, according to GOODMUSICINSIDER, 'Rodeo' already had features from James Blake, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, and King Krule, as well as a song with PARTYNEXTDOOR and Young Thug that we now know is "Perfect" [V2]. Other probable songs include "Pray 4 Love" and "Love".
Kacy Hill originally recorded a lot more vocals that were ultimately trimmed down to the two lines that made the final release. These vocals were never bounced and were recorded on open instrumental for Travis to use however he wanted. Leaked as part of the edited demo with Bibi Bourelly in 2020; a completely accurate bounce leaked November 16, 2022. Recorded on January 10, 2015.
OG Filename [?]: Travis Scott - Dinosaurus_03 One of a few songs played at a Chicago meet-and-greet in March 2015. Quite rough with some mumbling. Leaked as part of a four-pack on May 16, 2016; Travis tweeted a YouTube link to it after Mazi's death.
Early version from a mini-documentary recorded in the studio whilst the song was being created. Features a verse by Travis as well as an additional "nah, nah-nah-nah" part (seemingly performed by Durk).
Early version with no features, a rough verse, and a barebones instrumental. Leaked November 11, 2019. Had to be bounced from stems, hence why there are two different mixes floating around. The stems are dated December 20, 2014, but it may have been recorded earlier.
OG Filename: TRAVIS THIS SIDE ACAPPELLA2 Leaked sometime in mid-2019.
Solo demo before Hit-Boy touched it. Features Travis doing Hit-boy's verse, a mostly new second verse, an early mix and no intro and outro. Randomly leaked by Haze himself on his SoundCloud on July 5, 2025.
Released on September 4, 2015. Track 2 from 'Rodeo'. Interpolates Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson's "Flashbulbs" (replayed by Jordan Lewis). Features additional vocals from River Tiber.
Travis played a few songs intended for 'Rodeo' at a Chicago meet-and-greet in March 2015. The songs played (in no particular order) were: 01. Oh My 02. Dinosaurus 03. Man in My City 04. Drunk 05. Young Thug - Dipped in Gold "Dipped in Gold" may have just been played for fun; it's rumoured that Travis wanted to use the song, but it's thought that he never recorded anything. Other songs such as "3500", "90210", "Act 1 (Drown)", "Never Catch Me", "Poet and Parade", "Pray 4 Love", and "Wasted" (among others) all existed at the time, but it's not known if they were being considered.
OG Filename: BOUNCE_02 Early version, dated September 22, 2014, with rough autotune, some different adlibs, the tweaked instrumental from previous versions, and no outro. Previewed at a club by Metro in late October 2014, and multiple times in early 2015. Leaked April 15, 2019.
OG Filename: Travis- This SIde Ref Early solo version, dated April 22, 2015, featuring some reference vocals, an altered instrumental, and a different outro. Leaked June 13, 2019. Also leaked in acapella.
Early version with a rough take and different adlibs. Recorded on June 18, 2015, before being teased in a video with Metro Boomin. Performed at JYMBLYA a day or two later and then played backstage, before being re-recorded with the second and third verses being added. Travis noted in his 'Clique' interview that he did the hook and first verse in one take; there could be rough vocals where the live snippets were cut.
Solo version from around February 2015. More finished than Demo 1, but still has some unfinished lines that are different from later versions.
Updated version released with the rest of the album on September 4, 2015. Track 3 from 'Rodeo'.
OG Filename: Joy_2 Instrumental used for the first demo. Leaked January 18, 2023.
Tracklist sourced from a document titled "RODEO SONG STATUS", dated April 14, 2015. Text in red is edited in (excluding the header); the list originally said 'Mozzy' instead of 'Mazi', so that has been corrected, and Keef has been added as a feature to "Nightcrawler", since he recorded for it on the same day. 01. Addy 02. Naughty 03. OK Alright (feat. ScHoolboy Q) [likely also feat. Kacy Hill, SZA and Zonaman] 04. 3500 [Kanye was wanted at this point] 05. Nightcrawler (feat. Chief Keef) 06. Act 1 (Drown) [feat. Young Thug & Yung Mazi] 07. 90210 (feat. Kacy Hill) [Kacy not mentioned, but was definitely on it] 08. Whole Lot's Changed (feat. Yung Mazi) 09. Only One 10. Wasted (feat. Yung Lean) 11. Bruh (Ooh Na Na) [feat. Young Thug] 12. Poet and Parade 13. Twist One Up (feat. Jeremih) It can't be seen in the picture, but a note beside "Only One" says: "TWO VERSIONS EXIST. ONE WITH BEGINNING LOOPED THROUGH AND ONE WITH OLD ENDING". It's unclear how exhaustive this tracklist is. Songs like "Oh My", "Never Catch Me", and "Pray 4 Love" all existed at the time and could reasonably be expected to appear, but they equally may not have been in consideration at this time; "Pray 4 Love" was handled entirely by The Weeknd's team, which could explain its absence.
