On the original handwritten tracklist for Honestly, Nevermind found in "100 gigs for your headtop", "Pay Day" is written off to the side of the paper. It's possible this isn't a song, but it may be.

According to Metro, he did not want Drake on the song due to him wanting it to be a Travis and Young Thug collaboration. Drake wanted to include the song on 'Honestly, Nevermind', and included it after "Calling My Name" on the original tracklist for the album. Following its scrapping from 'Honestly, Nevermind', Metro would release the track on his album 'Heroes & Villains' a few months later, with Drake's contributions removed.
